So last week, Vivid Entertainment put out a press release that revealed the existence of a sex tape featuring the sexy female rapper Iggy Azalea. Vivid says it was approached by a third party who claims he represents an individual with rights to the purported sex tape featuring 24-year-old, Australian-born Iggy Azalea, whose real name is Amethyst Amelia Kelly.
Vivid founder/co-chairman Steven Hirsch says “Iggy is definitely the hottest female rapper today. I believe there would be a huge demand for her sex tape. Iggy has proved that she’s an amazing talent. If there is any tape out there that can rival that of Kim Kardashian, this one is it! We are conducting our due diligence and if we are satisfied with our review, we will definitely try to make a deal to distribute the tape,” he added.
Now if you’re not familiar with Iggy Azalea, she gained recognition early on for her controversial songs Pu$$y and Two Times. With her delicate skin, lithe body and long blonde hair she also started modeling and became the face of Levi Jeans.
She was the first female and first non-American to be featured on XXL’s annual Top 10 Freshman cover issue and her list of awards include those from BET, Billboard, MTV, Boombox and many others. Last year she toured with Beyoncé, and her single Fancy reached number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs charts earlier this year.
Now normally we wouldn’t get too excited about news like this, as the tape would only get released if both parties signed off on it. And with Iggy being such a huge star, we somehow doubt she’d let that happen.
But according to TMZ:
Iggy Azalea’s former boyfriend/manager now claims Iggy signed her rights away to him, giving him legal authority to market their sex tape. Hefe Wine says Iggy signed a lengthy agreement with him in 2009 — obtained by TMZ — which gives him exclusive rights to “manufacture, sell, distribute and advertise ‘any’ recording embodying visual images.”
So yeah, there’s a good chance this tape might come to light.. If so, you can be sure we’ll be all over it! 🙂
